The only college football video game in the country returns to the high-def gridiron for the 2011-12 season. The goal of NCAA Football 12 is to present onscreen action that plays with on-field authenticity, and that looks like a Saturday afternoon broadcast in the heart of the season. Topping the list of the "2012" game's technical advancements is a new tackling system, which relies on momentum for realistic hits and take-downs. Dozens of real-world teams are available for play, including many hometown favorites and all of the Game-of-the-Week contenders, re-created with actual team names, uniform options, and playbooks. As in earlier editions of the annual offering, gamers can create custom players to add to their favorite team, or to guide through an entire collegiate career.<br><br>Gamers may also choose to draft and field the game's pre-designed fictional players, focusing instead on building a dynasty for their favorite team. Top schools enjoy traditional gameday celebrations as their squads take the home turf, including the University of Oklahoma's "Sooner Schooner" covered wagon and Georgia Tech's "Ramblin' Wreck" old-time automobile. Highlighting the game's graphical improvements, a new "high dynamic range" rendering process produces more realistic lighting effects. The process better accounts for the eye's natural adjustment to different levels of brightness, especially when playing in an afternoon field, half-covered by shadow, or in an artificially lit night game. Additional presentational upgrades include 3D-rendered grass on the field, higher-resolution crowds, new Nike-brand uniform options, and additional player-customization choices.

Easy to use and a current way to experience college football
I fun exciting game that captures the spirit of Saturdays in the fall. A lot of fun!!! NCAA has all the stadiums, multiple college uniforms and the ESPN analysts. It also has really cool features like players getting injured and either missing part of the game, the whole game, and sometimes entire seasons. The controls are easy to learn and the players are very similar to current rosters. The weather changes, and the time changes too so a game may start in the sun and end at night. The realism of the shadows and the uniforms, stadiums, and players bodies along with real ESPN analyst like kirk herbstreet and Erin Andrews give it a real feeling and you cannot forget your playing a video game.I fun exciting game that captures the spirit of Saturdays in the fall. A must buy! Upgrades in all the right places, realistic and deep!
NCAA Football 12 is the best edition to date. The widely considered "deepest" mode in sports games, NCAA's dynasty mode has been made even deeper this year. Now you can start your dynasty as either an offensive or defensive coordinator, the key is you only control your side of the ball. Then you can fallow the all new coaching carolsel and move up through the coaching ranks. Once you become a head coach you get total control of your whole team. Also new to dynasty mode you can edit any and all conferences to keep to date with all the moving of teams. Also at the beginning of your dynasty you can change the BCS. Want to make the Mountain West a BCS confrence? Or maybe make the Rose Bowl a clash between the WAC and the MAC? Now you can. Also new to the Road To Glory mode now you get to play ... Also not only do you have to earn your starting spot, but you now have to fight to keep it. Young up and comers will try to pass you over by challenging you in practice you'll have to win the competition to keep your spot. There are some new parts to the gameplay as well. Now the crowd is more a part of the game as ever. The game now knows the difference between five thousand and a hundred thousand people and so will you. The new tackling engine now allows for multiple player tackles and makes angles a huge part of offense and defense. Take the wrong angle on D and have no chance at making the tackle. Take the right angle on O and be unstoppable. Also new is the zone defences in the game, you can now see defenders pass off receivers, shorten or lengthen there zones depending on the offense. All in all this is by far the best football game to date, not to mention the deepest. A must have for any football or college sports fan.

NCAA football 12 is worth the money in 2022
Its a good football game. Have not played it a lot yet. The difficulty and the AI seem like they will be a decent challenge without being too easy or too hard so far. Graphics are good, and its College football so its a win win. You can run the ball and pass the ball vs CPU on Heisman settings so it wont get boring to quick I hope.

Great game that can be played over and over again.
I have played this game for a few days now, and I love it. The Road to Glory is a really fun feature to play. They Dynasty mode is really fun also. The improvements to it this year really make it as good as can be. The changes to recruiting and coaching make the game more realistic. I usually alternate buying either Madden or NCAA each year. So I have played several editions of NCAA football, and 2012 version is one of the best ever. You must buy this game.I have played this game for a few days now, and I love it. EA Sports really did a fantasic job in this game. Worth the buy, 4/5.
NCAA Football 12 is continuing to improve in the areas needed the most. They aren't focused on the grass as much as they are on the community input of Dynasty. Well, they do make the grass look nicer. But jokes aside, EA Sports is really giving the fans what they want. They are continuing to make the game seem real with improvements on the pregame run-outs, graphics, and much more! They did an amazing job on the passing side of the gameplay. On defense, zone coverage got improved to where its actually.. zone coverage. The defenders in a zone are no longer looking dumb and making you look bad. They actually play their whole zone and trade off wide outs from zone area to zone area. On the offense side, passing was improved as well. New diving catches were added, however, you won't see too ... NCAA Football 12 is continuing to improve in the areas needed the most.
