Good Blu-Ray and Dvd player. Internet access works great.
So far no issues with the Sony BDP-S590. Works easily. The only draw back, and I find this with just about every DVD player I've ever had, if you're using the controls on the player they are always hard to see which button is which and they're never in an easy access place. It would probably be better if they were mounted on the face and the face was at an angle pointing upwards. Internet access works great. Can access my computer without an Apple TV.So far no issues with the Sony BDP-S590. Works easily. Great so far
I bought the same model new a few years ago and it was always glitchy and it finally gave out. I need the analog outputs, which are no longer available on new Blu-ray players. I looked for the same model just out of familiarity and because I already had the remote. Pleased with the purchase so far.

I purchased this player along with a new Sony TV,as I wanted the internet and online content available through the player as well as Bluray HD instead of using my laptop as a bluray player. I am definitely impressed with the picture, ease of use and how well the wifi downloads youtube/hulu/ and updates the bluray disc info. A really great piece of Sony gear at a great price. Great player, great features, worth it even without a 3D TV!
This is a great player even though I don't have a 3D TV to take advantage of its 3D features. The unit comes pre-loaded with a large selection of video and audio apps including some I've heard of and many I had not. I also like the ability to control the player with an app on my iPhone. If you're looking to buy a blu-ray player for the first time or looking to upgrade definitely check this one out!This is a great player even though I don't have a 3D TV to take advantage of its 3D features. I only wish it would have came with a user manual.. setting up the 3D would be much easier. Item worked well.
