    My Favorite Stephen King Story

    9 outta 10 Americans love Stephen King stories. But mostly it's Misery It The Shining Carrie etc. I like those to. The Running Man though is my favorite & Ben Richards is one of the least appreciated characters King has created. I love futuristic tales of the 21st century & this is one is great. Some of the things might be a tiny bit outdated, figuring it was written in 1982 & only took him a week to finish. I heard their doing a remake of this movie & I really hope it's a lot more like the book compared to the 1987 movie that I liked a lot. But the only thing it had in common with the book was the name Ben Richards & he's a contestant on a deadly futuristic game show, so hopefully if they really are doing a remake they stay true to the book this time because I'd love to see that.

    AS AN AVID STEPHEN KING FAN, I HAD TO REPLACE MY LOST COPY OF THE RUNNING MAN. IF YOU HAVE SEEN THE MOVIE, YOU ALREADY KNOW THE PREMISE, BUT THE B OOK IS MEATIER. THE ENDING WILL BLOW YOU AWAY. IT IS PRE 9/11 BY NEARLY TEN YEARS, YET...? WANNA KNOW MORE? BUY A COPY AND FREAK COMPLETELY OUT!!!
