  • A Vampire Movie for Everyone Including Me.

There has not been a shortage for the craving of the general public to watch vampire movies. Twilight is one of those movies that seem to cater to the teenage and female group. I don't think this is a minus for the film, however, it seems very slow in places and makes you wonder why the director went in certain directions at the times he did. The Indian Wolf Subplot was a little hard to swallow as well. Bella and Edward, the two characters that fall in love, played by Kristin Stewart and Robert Pattinson, seem to be perfect for one another. This love brings itself forward and forces the characters to try and deal with the fact that Edward is a vampire and lives with a group of vampires. They all seem to get along with the out-cast human until things get a little hairy but the ...

  • Twilight (blu-ray)

Twilight is infamous for being infested by mindless fangirls, and for being a saga without a decent plot. But I decided I would give the film adaptation a chance, and I wasn't disappointed. I was underwhelmed, to be more accurate. But to be fair, it's very easy to be underwhelmed by a film of this nature because it received loads of hype. So when you sit down and actually watch it, your expectations are very high. This film, as predicted, did not reach those expectations. My first gripe about Twilight was that it seemed too long. Telling the story of how an adolescent girl finds out that an adolescent boy is a vampire, then falling in love with him should not take over 2 hours. But then again, it's understandable because the book is fairly long, and there would be lots of ...

  • LOVE VS BLOOD

Features Actors:Kristen Stewart,Robert Pattinson,Billy Burke,Cam Gigandet, Peter Facinelli Running Time:122 Min. Rating:PG-13 Based on the popular novel by Stephenie Meyer. Twilight plays out conveniently in the fog-shrouded rural woodlands of the rainy state of Washington, where local vampires can apparently roam free at all hours of the day since the punishing sun rarely shines. Bella (Kristen Stewart) is a moody teen loner who relocates from Mom's home in Arizona to the town of Forks (a particular implement hardly necessary for undead dining), to live with her police officer divorced dad (Billy Burke). When Bella shows up for her first day at school, she's instantly and mutually attracted to a strangely handsome boy (Robert Pattinson) in a mad crush at first sight ...

  • Hooked

I was a backwards Twihard. I watched the movie, then immediately ran out to purchase the series. I read through the entire series in less than a week (almost without sleep) and then read them again, and again and again. I've read the entire series 7 times and I might do it again before New Moon's release. The movie was fantastic, although I didn't understand some of it until I read the books. I don't believe the Twilight movie did the book justice, but had it not been modeled after the book, it would have been fantastic. I think vital parts were deleted out of the book when making the movie and the plot sequence was out of sync or completely made up - the prom, the bus ride, etc. I think the script was rushed and could have been tons better. I think if u watched the ...

  • Great movie, with or without the Blu-ray Format!!

SPOILER ALERT: do not read this review if you are not familiar with the story or are uncomfortable with hearing about it! This is a great movie. While some have mentioned that it is different from the book, it is not really that different, and besides, what movie doesn't deviate from the book a little? Not only that, but Stephenie Meyer seemed to think it was true enough to the book; originally it was to be made by a different film company, but she decided against it because the original company had changed it too much! What makes this a good movie: there are some beautifully interpreted and well-done scenes (the meadow scene comes to mind here, as does the bridge from the ballet studio segment to the hospital segment), the movie boasts a great soundtrack, with songs from ...
