Hours of Imagination
I bought this book for a friend who is really into sci-fi and fantasy TV shows, models, and artwork. It was much better than I expected, with full color glossy pages. The artwork really jumps out at you, as if it were photographs of a different world instead of paintings. Some scenes are funny, like a panty-raid gone bad, some are melancholy, a lonely fairy girl, some are erotic, there's a lot of almost-nude and naked bottoms, but most are very dramatic and inspiring, that give you the feeling of warriors about to go into battle. The Amazon warrior is a common theme. The outfits are original, and in general, the book is fun to just sit around and flip through, trying to imagine the stories that would inspire the pieces. Always having been a fantasy fan, I was quite happy to find this book, and even the more happy to actually win it. It gives a lovely overview of Boris Vallejo's fantasy paintings, together with some background explanations what they were used or intended for. Something funny I think was a promotional for Dansk vodka from about 10 years ago. I contacted them, and in the meantime they had been taken over by another company, who had no idea even this existed...Always having been a fantasy fan, I was quite happy to find this book, and even the more happy to actually win it. It gives a lovely overview of Boris Vallejo's fantasy paintings, together with some background explanations what they were used or intended for. Something funny I think was a promotional for Dansk vodka from about 10 years ago. Although I like Frank Frazetta more than Vallejo, I still think the art of Boris is great. The seller's copy was mint and sold at a great price. Very pleased.

I love women curves, and this book is full of them,,,, I admire Vallejo's work since the first time I saw it,,, Boris and his wife always have wonderfull pieces of Fantasy Art, weird creatures and Beautifull women.. Camaleon007
