Smallville has brought me more enjoyment and entertainment than any series ever!
There is only good to say about SMALLVILLE - there is no bad at all. This series is perfect in every way. Perfect storyline, perfect scripts, perfect locations, perfect wardrobes and most importantly a perfect cast! I'm almost a senior citizen and have seen many series come and go and this is the only one that devastated me when it came to an end. Thank God for this wonderful Complete DVD set. Two beautiful albums with glorious pictures and outstanding documentation of each episode for each disc; totaling 62 discs This set has saved this wonderful show for generations to come in a most perfect way. It would have to be perfect to bring this uplifting, moral and beautifully written epic of Clark Kent on his journey to becoming our beloved hero - Superman! (By the way, I can't imagine ... Whether an avid fan of the Smallville series or you grew up reading Superman and the other depicted characters back in the 1960's as I did, this collection of the acclaimed television series is a must! The set is boxed with care for any home or public library and readily identifiable by its cover. What a treat to watch all the episodes, catch all the great dialogue moments again without commercial interuption, and visually enjoy those same exciting moments as they were originally broadcasted! The discs are referenced through an enclosed program booklet which provides a brief summary of each episode and its disc reference along with series background information. Speaking of background information... the special features included on selected discs, along with the program booklet, help ... Smallville, The Complete Series is a wonderful interpretation of the complete story (to date anyway) of arguably, our favorite visitor from a strange world who came to find a life and help humanity along the way. I enjoyed the journey... now it is your turn!

Not long enough
i do wish that smallville would have went a lot longer. It was by far the best superman series. I mean i loved the Dean Cain superman series as well but smallville was just way better over all. I do not like the ending though it was really cheesy and would have loved to see a fight against more top villians but oh well maybe another superman tv series is on its way that will be even better in the battles.i do wish that smallville would have went a lot longer. Not so SMALL!
I never saw this series when it aired on TV. Lately I've been caught up in the DC/Marvel Universes & trying to add many DVDs to my collection. This set is quite expensive in stores. Overall the series is entertaining. Some of the stories are not very exciting, but the characters are all extremely engaging. Lex Luthor is the next best thing to Boyd Crowder from Justified! The background story & connection between Clark Kent & Lex is fascinating. In all of the movies we only see their hero/villain relationship. Smallville takes it so much deeper. I am only on Season 2 and feel it was a worthy investment.I never saw this series when it aired on TV. Great product! recommend this to all smallville fans.
Top notch. The whole series is great. This was a birthday present and my wife is just about threw the whole thing. The only issue is the display box that it came in, the discs fit snuggly into the stiff plastic sleeves and any dust or dirt that gets in scratches. We just put them into a different disc keeper. Overall this is a great product, beautiful packaging and lots of fun and informitave extras.Top notch. The whole series is great.
