Slash with a whole host of rock n roll greats 2!
Anyone that's been a fan of GNR or has followed Slash's career is really gonna dig this new cd. In his book he'd mentioned that someday he wanted to put out a release that gathered all his rock n roll friends around him to make a new release...well that day is now! Each song has a different vocalist, so every song has its own feel. Critics may write that this causes the cd to lack uniformity but really I don't know how you could create this cd, with the goal being so many different rock n roll greats helping and have it also meet a cohesive goal. With that said, check out who is in this cast of "friends". Ozzy (need I say more?), Lemmy Kilmeister of Motorhead, Iggy Pop, Myles Kennedy of Alterbridge, Kid Rock...and the list goes on, and on! If you pass by this thinking it may not be any good you do so at your loss, because this cd absolutely rocks!

The BEST set under a Deluxe Edition
If you want to go back to the 80' raw, hard rock sound, you NEED this CD in your collection. And this particular 17 track special edition is fairly rare since it can olny be found in Asia (minus Japan) and Canada (Canadian Deluxe Edition). This are the first ones including the Single "Sahara" in english. That song was first released in Japan on 2009 and won "Single Of The Year" (in Japanese language). Another bonus track was only released in the UK (Baby Can't Drive). All of this of course, happened before the appereance of the Deluxe Editions all over the world which include more and more bonus tracks and other goodies. THANKS TO AHOLE, AXL ROSE, THE BEST ROCK BAND EVER HAD TO QUIT. BUT, THEIR BEST GUITAR PLAYER DIDN'T. HE HAS SEVERAL SOLO ALBUMS, AND THIS IS MY FAVORITE. EACH SONG HAS A DIFFERENT SINGER. MYLES KENNEDY SINGS ON 2. THEY ARE ALL GREAT. HE ALSO PUT OUT AN ALBUM WITH MILES KENNEDY AND THE CONSPIRATORS, APOCALYPTIC LOVE. IT'S MY SECOND FAVORITE.
