This powerful zoom function also allows you to take detailed shots of faraway scenes. The Kodak DX6490 comes with an aperture range of f/2.8 to f/8, which allows for maximum light control. Shutter speeds range from 1/1500 to 16 seconds for maximum control over photographing moving objects. In Program mode, the DX6490 sets the most ideal shutter speed and aperture combination. A customized mode lets you set the speeds for these cameras.A large, high resolution LCD makes it easy to accurately view subjects and scenes in both sunny and dark conditions, and it includes an auto rotation mode that lets you adjust the orientation of an image. The DX6490 electric viewfinder system (EVF) can help you with both frame and focus. The DX6490 also comes with the Kodak color science image processing chip. The company has used its 75 years of experience manufacturing cameras and camera accessories to create this technology, which optimizes both color and brightness. This state of the art science uses an automatic fill flash to accurately depict back lit scenes. This camera comes with multiple scene modes, including night, sport, landscape, and portrait mode. Manual dial controls are designed to satisfy creative freedom and include exposure compensation in +/- 2, in 0.3 increments, ISO equivalents of 80-800, and exposure metering.
