Great, portable, inexpensive, convenient, I recommend them.
Got them sent from China. The sound quality isn't the best, but they are very good for the price. There sound? Consider laptop speakers but about 10x louder. The only thing that could make these better is a little subwoofer. But good sound, good product. Am I pleased? Yes. Would I buy again? Yes. I go do a lot of odd work over at my mother's house, so I need these things. It does sit comfortably on the top of the laptop, so I put a velcro sticker on the back of the speaker holder and on the back of the laptop so the speaker won't fall off if I move the laptop. So I crank up the speakers and it can handle full volume and I can hear the music in the yard about 130 ft. away without problem. I've been using these things for about 4 months now. Good Sound. So much better than Mac's built in speakers. Go figure. Out of the box, it has a very wide slot where it sits on top of the laptop. I applied velcro to the tip of the fold down retainer to hold it to the lalptop lid and then wrapped the base of the fold down retainer with a velcro strap to fill the gap and make a snug fit. Poor design for attaching to the lid but a little creativity worked and most importantly - Good sound.Good Sound. So much better than Mac's built in speakers. Go figure. Better sound than internal and because of price & quality I'd buy it again.
I bout this because I wanted to improve the sound on my laptop. It was really inexpensive so my expectations weren't that high. I am pleasantly surprised. It's a better, fuller sound than the internal laptop speakers and that's about it. The device fits most laptops well but falls off easy if you move it around a lot.

I'm a little disappointed the reason being the speaker does not secure to the newer laptops. The older laptops with the catch closed latch it seems to be ok as the cutaway on the underside of the speaker is right for that system. But the laptops with just a closing method doesn't secure the speaker AT ALL even with the attached sling. It seems to me it is a little extreme of being top heavy. I even tried to secure it with velcro but that doesn't help either. This is really my only complaint is that it's not heavy per say but it is heavy without a secure mounting method to the newer laptops.I'm a little disappointed the reason being the speaker does not secure to the newer laptops. Nice speaker
I use this speaker on my laptop. The speaker works very well and can be turned up to be very loud. I highly recommend this speaker. I would buy it again.
