    Good phone but poor battery life

    I bought this phone back in 2013 and liked it back then but quickly learned that the battery power is instantly eaten up, even after the power saving mode is turned on and the background programs/bloatware is turned off. I turned everything off and rarely put a new app on the phone. It could sit in my purse after charging it to 100% and it would go down on sleep mode to about 90% in about 2 hours and steadily drop down. I bought a new battery to see if that would help, but researched online and discovered that this is a common problem with the S3 and the new battery did not work. I would have to charge it at work because the power would be down to 69% by the time I was ready to leave at 5pm if I didn't. Very frustrating. Anyway, other than the battery power, the phone has become kind ...

    Great Phone For A Bunch Of Reasons.. But, Not Great Battery Life..

    I love this phone. It's small enough. Fast enough, killer apps and best off.. REMOVABLE BATTERY! I got it new years after it came out. bought it here 3 months ago. such a great phone. has all of the up to date features including fantastic video and pictures. Looks like the 2017 models of Samsung. Using Messenger you can AV chat all over the world and the phones internal 16 gigs plus your additional card should be enough for most. Has Corning Gorilla Glass so it helps protect from drops or pressure failure. I got 2 extra batteries because as much as I use the phone (6 hours a day) I need to switch them out at least once a day if not twice..

    A little frustrated

    I delayed my review to see how the phone operated in order to give an accurate review. This was a gift for my husband, who has been frustrated that it seems to only charge with the one LG charger (not the same brand as the phone) that was sent with it. The charging port is loose, which was not mentioned in the description. Otherwise, the phone works well as advertised.

    Works beautifully! Looks Great!

    No flaws with this phone and Virginmobile helped me immediately to make it mine. A real bargain! Love this phone and it was such a smooth deal. This my first smartphone so I wanted it as a starter. It exceeds my expectations. My wife gave her S3 to my daughter, so I knew what I was getting. This phone really is in "new condition". I would recommend it for anyone who is starting with their first smartphone purchase. The only thing bad is you have to know how to conserve your battery, but again, I know how to do so, because I've been through this with my wife and her S3.

    Greatest phone made!

    Great item for anyone looking for a reliable phone. Samsung 3s I believe are the best phone made even today. Sturdy , reliable and easy to use.
