G.I. Jane isn't a good title, but...
Someone was needed to represent the women who are being selected by the military who can live up to the demands of what many have seen as 'men only' roles of combat. In G.I. Jane, Demi Moore lives up to that role. As a Naval Lieutenant, she starts out proving her intellect and then by proving her ability to keep up with those who are trying to compete for a position in a skilled combat unit. It's just a movie, but it's well done and shows some of the rigors that are required to become one of America's finest. Overall, I highly enjoyed "G.I. Jane". I thought it was a great entertainment and Demi Moore was excellent.

She gets put into training for the Navy SEALS, the most elite and toughest training. Now, O'Neill must prove she has what it takes to be among the best of the boys. Demi Moore plays Lieutenant O'Neill, a tough, no-nonsense girl who just wants to get in on the action. Demi Moore pulls off the roll in convincing style and Viggo Mortenson has his best part as the Master Chief of the SEAL training unit. They have this crazy dynamic between themselves that finally unfolds at the ending, leaving you wishing for just a little more. Moore's performance is one of the two performances that elevate this from your standard. ... "G.I. The other is the riveting Viggo Mortenson as the Master Chief, who's the drill instructor. He doesn't play the role as a sadistic tyrant, but rather as a subtle manipulator who gradually recognizes. This movie was really great. I loved every bit of it. The cinematic shots were insane

Best Demi Moore Film
One of Demi Moore's best movies if you ask me! I thought all the characters had depth and the script was fantastic! It is one of the best movies to encourage women's rights at that time!

I Got This Guys
G. I. Jane is a great adventurous, thrilling, seat of your pants type of movie. This movie shows that women can live in a man's world and can overcome better than a man can in certain circumstances. So, women, this is a good movie for us to watch and wonder if that could have been us in our younger years! I say yes I could have!
