Once again the world has been thrown into danger by the nefarious whims of Major Maxim, and who on Earth could take on the overfiend and live to tell the tale? Why, the Danger Girl team, of course! This trio of smart, sassy, and well-endowed heroes has all the bases covered, from whips to big guns to hacking skills. With their back-up team in place, the girls will have to crawl, sneak, and shoot their way through Major Maxim's host of terrifying fortresses and nefarious enemies of the Hammer Empire before they have the chance to once again take down the big red guy himself.<br><br>Danger Girl is based on the popular comic series from Cliffhanger Comics. The engine, developed by N-Space, focuses on both action and espionage, as the Danger Girl team gears up and hits all corners of the globe in their strike at the Hammer Empire. Not only will they have to shoot their way through the opposition, but also they'll have to employ their cat-like reflexes and advanced spy-gadgets to make it through this dangerous mission.<br><br>Danger Girl takes place in a third-person, 3D environment, and through each of the 12 missions, players will control one of the three-member team as they hunt down Hammer. The characters can run, walk, crawl, leap, and hang against walls to keep out of sight. There are over 15 different weapons that players will have their hand at over the course of the game, from handguns to rifles to powerful bazookas. Players will also be able to detonate or disarm bombs, flip on some night-vision goggles to go about their dirty-work in the dark, or even set off distractions so that they can pass enemy checkpoints and have bullets to spare.

Cheeky cheesecake fun for the PS1 era...
Even though this game has some seriously serious issues, I will always look back fondly on this game. It has a truly unfair save/resume system that will test your patience to the extremes. It also could really use a robust checkpoint system - considering this game's difficulty at least. But I will always love Danger Girl. It's based on one of my favorite childhood comic series, which gives it brownie points right there...but I'll stand by this opinion: this game has the most accurate translations of comic book characters I've ever seen in a game. You can tell N-Space were fans of the J. Scott Campbell comicbook. Considering this was the first (and only!) time these characters got animations and voices for their designs. I think they did a wonderful job translating Abbey Chase and ... Even though this game has some seriously serious issues, I will always look back fondly on this game. And while it's too hard at almost all times with unforgiving level restarts - everything else is golden. Great VO and beautiful character models (for the PS1 era) are all over this thing. My love for the source material makes me wanna give this game a 5 star rating - but realistically, it's too hard and brutally punishing, along with WAY too many cheap hits that take you out with almost no chance to retaliate...that reason alone condemns this game to a 3...out of 5 rating. I still love it, regardless. Danger Girl is my beloved 3-star retro gem. So be it.

Buy Only If You're A Fan Of The Comic Book Series.
As the title states you should really only buy this game if you're a fan of the comic book series because in all honesty this game is just not good and although I won't say it's incredibly horrible(I have played much worse)it is just not worth buying unless you're a fan. I first bought this game in the year 2000 when it was first released and what a huge disappointment it was. I was expecting a fun third person action adventure game and instead what I got was a buggy, clunky game with bad controls, bad graphics, bad sound and a less than compelling story. The artwork is beautiful I'll say that much about Danger Girl and Abbey Chase, Sydney Savage and JC(the three protagonists)are very stunning to look at with their huge cleavage and nice butts unfortunately it hardly makes up for the ... Underrated, solid, stealth action! Worth a try.
Danger Girl has probably been ignored by video gamers simply because games based on licensed properties have historically been really, really, incredibly bad. (Often games based on comics, movies, tv shows, etc. are rushed and glitchy--probably due to extra pressure to get it to market while the property is still hot.) I found Danger Girl to be the exception to the rule. The controls work well, allowing easy access to stealth, dodging, attacking, plus zooming with binoculars and sniper rifles. The game is split into a number of missions for the various characters, which means picking it up and playing for a half-hour works well. This is a Playstation game, so the visuals won't be on par with games of this type for PS2, but it really looks good for a PS1 game. For the following ... The characters are exaggerated in the same way Lara Croft pioneered in Tomb Raider. 2. This is stealth spy action, where your goals always involve shooting the bad guys, sometimes with a sniper rifle to the head. I highly recommend Danger Girl to any fan of the comic book and any video gamer who has wanted to get into the whole stealth genre, but has been daunted by the apparent complexity of Metal Gear and the like.
