À propos de ce produit

Product Information

Alex Kidd returns for his second adventure in Alex Kidd: The Lost Stars. Players guide Sega's former franchise character through six levels of strange lands (including underwater) in order to recover 12 stars. Levels are timed, but they can be beaten the first time through by experienced gamers since easily timed jumps (over obstacles such as letters and rolling heads) and easily shot enemies are the only challenges the game has to offer. For those who need them, power-ups can be found that will provide Alex with higher jumps, cloud shots, ultra shots and additional time. Bright, colorful graphics further enhance this game's reputation as a Kidds-only platformer. <!--Book-->

  • Fun Master System Title; Challenging But Short

This game has pretty good graphics (colorful and "cutesy") and pretty catchy music. It also has a couple of sampled voices that are done pretty well for a Sega Master System title. It's a bit challenging at first. For a platformer, more emphasis is given on dodging enemies and running/jumping through the level as fast as you can before your life meter runs out without getting hit or falling off a cliff into a pit as much as possible. Unlike Bonk or Sonic or Mario or the first Alex Kidd, you can't bounce on or run though or punch/head-butt your enemies; you only had a fireball attack which only lasts in short durations as the occasional power-up you pick up on the way. It felt a little awkward at first but after a few rounds I got used to the gameplay, and eventually I managed to ...

  • Alex Kidd: The Lost Stars

This one is going to be short because there's not much to say. There is not much to this game. It was so boring I ignored any point there was to the game. Let me sum it up. In the first couple of levels (I got bored and quit), you play as this kid and you are trying to get to the end of the level. There are enemies in the levels and there isn't much you can do about it. I tried jumping on them, that didn't work. I tried pressing the other button and that doesn't do anything, except I guess I picked up a power up at some point cause when I pressed the button, it shot something and killed some enemies. There's also a small timer and every time you take a hit, it takes a good chunk of time off the clock. There's this thing that floats that you can pick up, but I never figured it out. ...

  • Classic

The classic games is where it began, it's great to go back in time, to a simpler time. Now is the time to collect these games and systems. That is what my son is doing, trying to collect all the classic game consols
