Product Information

Garden Children are trained to protect the citizens in Luminous Arc from the witches and monsters that return with the appearance of God. Players take the role of Alph, a member of the Garden Children, as he adventures through many battles and quests with his brother and other members of the organization. Gamers become comfortable with the controls by completing 19 tutorials, and then explore several fantasy environments on a linear path towards their ultimate goal. Battles are played out on turn-based grids, and gamers can use either the stylus or D-pad to execute their moves. Each character has their own special ability, and when the party has a good relationship, they can increase their accuracy and defense by standing close to one another on the field. When players are in a town, they can interact with the locals, purchase items, and visit the library. Luminous Arc may be played alone or with a friend in competitive online action.

    Luminous Arc

    It has a good story, cute looking chars and a nice gameplay once you get used to. As a turn based RPG it lacks complexity on skills, spells and equipments but still it's a nice game to play. But don't expect glowy and shinny effects as you'd get in the final fantasy series. Anyway I like it, hope you can enjoy it too.

    Excellent!

    Wonderful graphics and anime design. Its of truth the best game I've ever played! The character roles are superb and the storyline is a blast. Thank you game creators for this game.

    Fun game

    I saw a new game was coming out called "Luminous Arc 2" that looked like fun, but I needed to play the first one first. RPGs are really my thing and I've really come to enjoy tactical ones. I found there to be much to be desired from this game, but even the predictable plot and pretty art work makes it overall a fun game to play.

    Luminous Arc

    Luminous Arc lacked the depth it needed to equal Final Fantasy Tactics Advance. Although it is playable and fun till then with a decent storyline, It doesn't have the ongoing push to better your player through level ups, weapon mastery, and mastering different skills. Overall I would recommend it for anyone who loves turn based RPG style games.
