À propos de ce produit

Product Information

F-1 Race is the first Game Boy title to support four-player simultaneous racing. Choose from two Formula-1 cars, 14 tracks, and three play modes: Grand Prix, Time Trial, and Multi Game. Grand Prix involves racing on nine tracks against ten competitors. Time Trial has you racing on each track to learn its unique features. The top three lap times on each course are stored in the game's memory and can be viewed from the track selection screen. Multi Game splits all 14 tracks into three groups. Four cars compete for points in a series of three-lap races; the driver with the most points at the end of the series wins. You can enter your initials for saving purposes and handicap your car by reducing the amount of available nitro.

  • A Collection ESSENTIAL

Unlike so many Game Boy racing games, in F-1 the road horizon is actually high on the screen so you see a good amount of road which allows you to actually react to road turns. The controls are great and the graphics are good with a very decent framerate. Ultimately though the game is too difficult to play, but it's a great way to kill 15 minutes at a time before you get frustrated and take it out. It's better than almost all the other Game Boy racing games, despite its difficulty, plus it's one of the few 4-player Game Boy games, so I say it's an essential for any gamer's Game Boy library. You will not regret buying this game.

  • F-1 RACE will challenge you and have you coming back for more!!!

F-1 Race is a fun little game as you race through 8 different courses based in 8 different countries. There are 3 game modes. Grand Prix, Time Trials and Multiplayer (via GB link). There are also 2 types of Formula 1 vehicles you can select. This is all based on your preference. One vehicle has lower top speed but higher jet speed, the other vehicle has higher top speed and lower jet speed. Also the fuel jet tank capacity varies for each vehicle. This allows a player to be strategic towards which vehicle to use for a particular race. I would recommend to start on Time Trials mode. This will allow you to learn the controls and learn each course. All time trials are saved. this makes it fun as you can challenge yourselg or your friends for best track times. When you are ready for Grand ...

  • Portable Racing at it's...well, not best but still fun.

I remember borrowing my friend's copy of this game years ago, and having fun playing this game. for an early gameboy title, this one does well. First thing, it was cool that you could customise your ride. you could pick a car with good acceleration or good top speed, and how much nitro. That's just like Gran turismo 5, but 20 years earlier! Ok, ok, that's exaggerating a little. Another thing, when this game came out, it had one thing in common with Kirby's Dream land; it's a reason to get headphones. the sound effects are awesome. but the music is really sweet. The U.S.A theme sounds pretty good for a Gameboy game song. Bottom line, i could play this game for a while and not get bored. if you're one of those gamers just looking for 30 minutes to kill, this is your game.

  • Great Old Racing Game

This is a very simplistic game made for the Original Game Boy, thus it is only monochrome color. Overall this is a great racing game and at the time it seemed really awesome. Nowadays with better graphic ability for games this game may seem to be not that great, but I still enjoy it as a fun old school portable racing game.

  • F-1 Race (GameBoy)

I still enjoy playing these early 90's video games. It is reasonably price compared to the more costly ones that could make poorer people poor. However, the game is one of my favourites and I purchased it for my loving nephew for Christmas. I think I am a bit too grown up to spending me time on playing such games.
