Luckily it was the correct part as the photos helped to check it. The item was very well wrapped and in very good condition. The seller was prepared to advise me how to attach it, but I managed to do that myself. The postage was a bit expensive, but it was sent from Latvia , so a long way to travel. I would recommend this seller as older BMW parts are hard to find, and the condition was great. Before and after photos below!
