Good product and nice features!
These lights fit like OEM products without any issue, but none of the resellers of this type product clearly indicate what is entailed in the installation when using the LED's and the Halo lights. There was a tremendous amount of research done the day I installed my headlights. To be clear, I ended up calling Spyder, the MFR of the product, directly. When I spoke to their tech support, It was clarified I did not need to use a ballast/resistor, or anything like that and I could wire the halos and the LED's directly to a 12v source. This was my main concern considering most videos I found indicated connecting the ballast to 12v source, then to the wiring on the lights. To the credit of VIPMOTOZ, they are not false advertising, but all the resellers should indicate it is only plug and ... Also, I believe you should clearly indicate that you DO NOT need the ballast resistors that are shown all over the web for connecting your halos, and that will probably increase your sales, overall. Finally, the wiring colors (black and white, and the red and black) are clear in their markings and easy to understand black is ground and white/red are hot. I would easily have given a 5 star rating if: 1, It clearly indicated no ballast is necessary, and/or 2) Indicate only the low/high beam are truly plug and play. I also was disappointed in "plug & play" expectation since I recently bought the tail lights with LED's and they were truly plug and play. Overall, looks great and works good!

Totally change the appearance of my 7 yr old truck!!
Love the look of these lights the quality is great and the plasma bar is very slick looking no instructions but its straight forward I just ran the power for the plasma bar to my ignition in the fuse box with a fuse tap. Only issue I had was that my current hid setup had a different size bulb in the factory lights and these are h1 bulbs so now I have to buy some h1 hid bulbs but no big deal. Multiple issues with this headlight at the 2 year mark.
I purchased these about two years ago from VIP Motors and they started to yellow about 10 or so months ago. This may be normal, but I was hoping they would last at least a couple more years before they started yellowing. My original OEM headlight lasted nearly 7 years before they started yellowing. My vehicle is stored in a garage too. Another thing is if you are using halogen turn signal bulbs the housing will melt and it will get so hot that the bulb base will start to melt too. I have to change over to LED turn signal lights to prevent the melting which did much better, but be warned about that. Lastly, occasionally these do get moisture in them, but they do dry out when it gets warm enough. So they are not completely waterproof. The price is good though, but I'd rather pay a ... Good product / looks great!
My truck looks great with my new Spyder Halos! My only complaint is the lack of installation guidance. The packaging did not provide any instructions. I pulled up a couple of youtube videos for guidance but help found there was limited to connecting the wiring harnesses. There needs to be more guidance when it comes to splicing in wires ( as required for installation )

Updates the look of the truck 😎
Updates the look of the 2nd Generation Tundra.The lights are smoke or tinted so not that bright in the night if they are not on full beam.But they do look very good especially when paired with smoke tail lights.The wiring is not plug and play and does take some time to do as there are no instructions.Happy with the purchase , the look, the quality and service
