Exactly as described, brand new. It was packaged well and arrived undamaged. The shipping time was much longer than I expected, spending a week in my delivery town before being delivered by USPS. I don't believe it was necessarily the fault of the seller, most likely due to USPSs own internal incompetence or failures. Having said all of that I do very wholeheartedly recommend this seller to anyone looking for great quality media at excellent prices.

Excellent movie for the true martial arts enthusiast !!
Another great eighties sci-fi/ martial arts film written by the legendary Bruce Lee and co-starring none other than David Carradine of the Kung Fu series. Here, he plays a blind kung fu master who secretly aids a post-apocalyptic barbarian that goes by the name of Chord. Chord tells his Kung Fu friend that he's after "The Book of Ultimate Enlightenment" rumored by several others to have never existed, yet he still finds himself compelled to search for it. along the way, David Carribbean's character secretly teaches the warrior little known facts about the zen side of things while leading him to the place where the secret book is kept. Favorite part: Carradine is stopped by a boy who sticks out his arm demanding a fare for safe passage. Carradine, who is blind mind you, ... His parents were being manipulated by his beauty and so I freed them from it." Alot of zen sayings and traces of Taoist philosophy come out in this film. A true asset to those who also seek their own personal enlightenment. This can definately be said to have been an excellent example of Bruce Lee's work. Alot of his own personal beliefs about the martial arts also seem to come out of this one, which becomes very apparent when Chord faces his first trial against the warrior who tries to use monkey kung fu on him. I'm not going to spoil it for you by saying anymore, you'll just have to see for yourself : ) enjoy. - Squarepeg26

Circle of Iron Movie Review by -HH
I bought this DVD because I saw this movie before and LOVED what it was trying to convey. Basically David Carridine plays several characters and each one is totally different from the other. The main idea I derived from this movie was that I can learn alot with patience and asking questions. People don't take time to ask the 'right questions' but if they just bothered to ask some important questions, they'd live a much better and wiser life! One particular sceen that always is fresh in my mind is when the old man broke the 'pretty little boy's nose' with one slap! That was so awe insipring after you learn the reason!!! It was so simple and absolutely correct! But who thinks like that anyway? Just one man's thoughts. -HHI bought this DVD because I saw this movie before and LOVED what it was trying to convey. A Visual Masterpiece, an Epic Story...
Circle of Iron, or, The Silent Flute, as it was once called, is an epic tale mostly written by Bruce Lee before his untimely death. It was to be his way of explaining his belief in the Zen phylosophy. Laden with symbolism, this highly visual (no computer effects) story depicts Cord, the seeker, searching for a forbidden book, with all the answers to the universe in it. Each trial he faces, as with the trials of life, make him all the wiser. David Carradine plays two major roles in this film, excellantly. This movie has fallen into obscurity and attained cult status. I highly recommend it. My husband and I enjoy martial arts films, and this is a really good one. David Carradine is supreme in the several different roles that he plays, all convincingly. Jeff Cooper, while unknown, does a wonderful job of playing Cord, The Seeker. His fighting skills are very convincing during the fights scenes with Carradine. Overall, we highly recommend this movie to anyone who enjoys martial arts films.My husband and I enjoy martial arts films, and this is a really good one.
