Set during World War II, R.U.S.E. is a real-time strategy game that emphasizes gaining the upper hand through deception rather than brute force. This is accomplished by playing "ruse cards" earned during the course of battle. Among the available ruses are camouflaged troops, decoy units, radio silence, and spies that can reveal unidentified units. Up to eight players can engage in skirmishes online as one of six factions: United States, United Kingdom, Germany, Italia, France, and U.S.S.R. Each faction offers a distinct set of units and areas of strength, such as Britain's air superiority or Germany's armored vehicle prowess. A single-player campaign is included, and online games feature such customizable settings as the year of engagement (1939 to 1945), victory conditions, number of available ruses, and more.

Strategy and wartime fun in one package
Great game for anyone who likes military strategy. Control armies and look from the map view as you place your military at key spots or zoom in and control single units. Very cool game with a neat idea and a good storyline. A different twist froms games like command and conquer and starcraft, giving a more strategy base as if you were an actual commander in the war looking down at the war map deciding the next attack move while the enemy decides their own. Fun fun game for those who are into military type games and strategy!Great game for anyone who likes military strategy. ehh not bad
I love strategy war games, the problem with this game is the time allowed in each battle, it would be fantastic if there was no time limit just one side winning or losing. I mean a half hour goes by in a one hour max game and your just getting your offenseive strike moving, I guess you have to be very quick. The Ruse is kinda cool and the battles are good the sound and the units but its just the time that kills this game! I would recommend Command and Conquer Ultimate over this game. Bottom line is if it was conquer and win this game would be great because the maps are big and lots of battle units. I give this game 2 stars for graphics, gameplay, sound and strategy but I would rent it because the time limit will drive you nuts. Than again if you play enough and become expert than you can ... Than again if you play enough and become expert than you can use 20 minutes to set up defense which you absolutely have to have and then the other 40 minutes to strike. This game is all about speed speed speed.... did i say speed. You have to move very quick to make this game interesting at all and most games you will find yourself not even able to use most units because your opponet attacks quickly so I recommend that you attack with a small yet sizeable enough force just to buy some time and then you can defense up and than build a division and attack and lots of airstrikes. This game would be awesome if we had unlimited time.. so buy wisely.

Fun game , one of the best rts mixed with other elements . A must have for people with PS 3's and a need for better games .

Great Strategy Game
This game is a great strategy game if that is what you like. Walks you through how to play. The one disappointment was you only got to play one country for just about the entire game.

Haven't had a chance to play yet but have played the demo and it is an excellent game. Great reviews!!!
