    Simply great.

    Tha Ibanez TS-7 Tube Screamer is a well trusted workhorse just like other Ibanez tubescreamer models. The Ts-7 is somehow underrated for a mystery reason,( maybe because it's not green???!!!) however this is about the best design. Not just a sound quality ( it's the closest to the original and most rewarded 808 model, contains most of the same electronics parts starting with the exact same chip, but also the locking control buttons are extremely helpful. The best result of hours of tweeakings can be saved securely. Very versatile, only it's not favorable for metal. Sounds great with all my guitars and pickups, brings alive every note. Works great with any amps, especially all tube amps. ( mine is a rare CARLSBRO Fatboy A class 30W amp). I can achieve any tone I desire, however your desire ...

    Nice tube screamer

    My ears cannot detect much of a difference between a ts9, a ts808 and a ts7. If you're like me, I highly recommend the ts7. Cheaper than the other two and a great overdrive. Looks plastic, but it's solid metal. I like that you can set the knobs to your liking and push them in so they stay put.

    Underrated pedal in an underrated series

    I'm a fan of the Tone-Lok series in which the main gimmick is the knobs are spring mounted and can be pushed into safety so your settings don't get jostled. This Tube Screamer is fantastic. The volume on the normal TS9 is a little low, but the hot rod setting is quite versatile. Excellent boost and proud member of the Tube Screamer line.

    Great pedals for any playing style or amp. Warms your tone up, adds gain!!

    These are GREAT!! A little hotter than the TS9's. Uses the same JRC4558 chip. Hot switch makes it even hotter yet. Metal case makes it more rugged and dependable than the plastic TS5 Soundtank model. I own both and like 'em both. I also have a vintage TS9 from 1983....great for a reference, and the TS-7 kills it. My TS9 is noticeably creamier in tone, but unless you're Stevie Ray Vaughn you'll probably go for the TS-7 in a blindfolded sound test. Mod one of these out with a mod kit off of ebay and it gets even better. Great pedal to add to your gear collection if you don't already have one.

    From day one, this pedal is my favorite overdrive/dist; and I have about 30

    The 2000 year model of the tube screamer is a product I'm totally pleased with. It gives smooth, warm, grind on the overdrive side & powerful smooth clear(not muddy or fizzy) on the hot setting. Practically the IDEAL od & dist that really is top notch. A little noisy on the hot side is only drawback. I'm very satisfied. I have other pedals that have the JRC4558D chip; but this one is really buttery; they way I like it, but the hot side cuts through with articulation. Very Nice.
