Mastering the Hangun in Combat Situations
First, I really like the author of this book and I try to read anything that he puts into print. He is Massad Ayoob, an expert marksman, exceptional teacher and mentor, has been used all over the USA in our court systems as an expert witness in regards to the use of deadly force for Self and Family Self Defense. He covers all areas of safe handling and useage of handguns, he included a section about how to teach your children the common sense approach to safe handgun handling and mastering target shooting. This book also has a complete section on Reciprocity covering all states for those people that have a state-issued CCW (Concealed Carry Weapon), listing every state in the USA. In the back of the back is a section on The Arms Library that gives you a source for anything gun related ... The one thing that I dislike is that almost all of the pictures of proper technique in handling and firing your handgun shows all RH (Right Hand) useage and some of us are Leftys. Off-hand practice should be common place and practiced often. There is also a section on Modern Day Gunleather that covers a variety of holsters and different ways of carrying; in particular Concealed Carry. Overall I recommend this book to anyone wanting to master yourself and your gun and to learn some advanced skills that might save your life.

Great book, misleading title
Yes, there are sections about Combat. that said, it's the best overall book on handguns I have yet seen. Perfect book for someone looking to get into guns and not knowing where to start.
