Classic Halloween Gore with just enough T& A
This is a great, old school, B-movie. When purchasing, make sure your get this one ( with Linnea Quigley ) and NOT "Jack O Lantern" which has NOTHING to recommend it ( IMHO ). I ordered Jack O through an on-line book store and got a copy of Jack O Lantern ( which I watched, an hour and a half I will never get back ), and retruned it, and got a second copy of Jack O Lantern, which I also returned and went to eBay to get the right one. Just the right blend of mild Halloween gore and T&A.This is a great, old school, B-movie. This movie description lists Brinke as an actress, but the reality is this: there is a scene or two where the characters are watching a film on television in which Brinke is an actress. This is only mildly annoying to me since I did not purchase the movie based on Brinke's appearance. However, I feel it to be inaccurate -not deceptively so- and worth mentioning. The movie itself is quite campy and contains special effects which were sub-standard before the movie was produced, but a budget is what it is. In other words, you get what you pay for. Another So BAD it's GOOD Horror Film!!!
Jack-O So bad you have to see it. Jack-O is another unbelievable, unrealistic, absolutely terrible, D-Level Horror Film. And I absolutely love it!!! Don't expect much from this film. You're not going to be scared or impressed, but you'll laugh harder than you have in a long time. Acting is terrible, so are the effects, but it's well worth it. This film is one of the worst horror films ever made. I own it on VHS and have worn the tape out showing it to my friends. Oh the memories. Trust me, this film is awesome. Final Verdict: 5/5 Rent or Buy?: If you love bad horror films, this one is worth picking up for no more than $5.00 including shipping. If you just want to laugh at a movie that's incredibly bad, rent this one and enjoy it once. IF YOU FIND THIS REVIEW HELPFUL PLEASE ... Jack-O So bad you have to see it.
