À propos de ce produit

Product Information

This sixth installment in Gust's console RPG series comes to North American PS2s courtesy of Nippon Ichi Software America. Players enter the fantasy world of Regallzine, a place divided into small, independent countries that is home to the "Great Sprirt." As in the previous, Japan-only releases in the series, the game's magic system involves alchemy, the mystical power that allows the combination and creation of powerful items. Unlike earlier games, however, the hero of Atelier Iris: Eternal Mana is a young man (not a maiden) named Klein Kiesling. He is joined by Ryta Blanchimont, a traditional "altier" alchemist, and Popo, a fairy with influence over the Regallzine's "Mana" spirits. The game's combat system plays out in a turn-based fashion, but the time cost of each combat ability is factored, and the order in which character's make their moves is determined by the time required for each chosen action.

I was waiting for my Xbox to arrive, to finally be able to play after almost 20 years. The seller was really great, and the price was also really good. Sadly the control aren't what we have today, and i had to arrange all that and even then it's a bit of a mess. I still think it's a good game, but the controls A to drive, and B break ... Yeah, it's not the best, but the story is still the same, and the graphics are pretty good for something from 2003.

  • Extremely enjoyable, but not for everyone

This game is an amazing title for those who are looking for a more traditional Role Playing game experience. This game will be adored by people born before the nineties, when the greatest role playing games on the market were Final Fantasy VI and ChronoTrigger. Graphics: The animation style is amazingly nostalgic of roleplaying games on the playstation one. High quality sprites and hand drawn animations are extremely well done. Don't expect anything flashy, character and locale sprites look like they were made in 1996, as it was intended to be. Particle effects and spells are rendered on a modern engine, showing off some flashy effects. Sound: Voice acting in english is not very good. Thankfully, NIS included the japanese audio track, which I solely use. Great sound effects and good ...

  • Start of a Series

Great, the first Atelier game to come to North America, and not the last. Happy to get to play this title along with the others in the series.

  • Game of Perpetual Delight

Atelier Iris: Eternal Mana is unlike those of other games in one, very vital way: it allows us to synthesize, to combine items that we have gathered in the journey into usable, more useful items. Players can spend hours on end just on synthesizing alone. And not only can you synthesize with the mana gathered, but also in at least 3 different stores, as well as synthesizing for weapons. The characters are well-likeable, the story-line keeps the player hooked. This game should have a cute warning, also. The graphics are cute and oh-so-adorable. The music is not bad, as well. And it seems to blend so well into the environment that once you hear it again, you immediately link it to the specific location in the game. The addition of the "Collector's Caravan" is also a good idea. It ...
