Good sound from space
Brand new unit, installed in a half hour and used aux cable for better sound rather than tuning to the fm station. Very nice mount , will adhere to just about anything. The antenna is easy to run where you want it, wire is thin and very easy to push behind trim. Advise is put antenna where you want it and then run wire back to unit hiding extra whereever. Turn it on right down code on screen , make a call or use computer and have it activated. Great music and talk radio anywhere you go. Works great - simple interface - nice small size - good price!
This is a great "bare bones" receiver. As a plug and play unit it has the ability to move from car to car to home to portable options but its small size also makes it my favorite pick for most stay in the car all the time; low profile vehicle integration applications also. You can use its Auxillary output for direct input into many vehicles for the best performance or use it with an optional FMDA25 or XMFM1 to connect the unit directly to the antenna any other car. Do not waste time on the "included FM adaptor" (it is junk). If you like bells and whistles, multiple colors, or pictures this may not be the unit for you but if you want Satellite Radio in your car without taking up a lot of space or breaking the bank this is the solution for you. davidesalesThis is a great "bare bones" receiver. This Sirusxm radio is very good if you are interested in mounting in a stealth situation. In my corvette I was able to put it in the smallest compartment behind the seats totally out of sight. The good thing about the small tuner is it can be transferred easily to another vehicle or place by simply adding other vehicle mounts or a home setup and again it can be place where it cannot be seen. I use it in my setup for my garage, corvette, and my pickup which is also hidden out of sight. The sound you receive from it totally depends on the sound system installed in your auto or in your garage in my case. The only downside would be if you like receiving information about music playing, etc. the screen is small would be hard to read which is why some of the newer models have larger ... Recommended addition to Classic or older cars.
I had a factory Sirius in my 2010 Ford F350 Truck and wanted some way to get the Sirius news and music in my 1999 LHS we purchased new almost 13 years ago. This worked great, has several presets and ticker tapes the names and titles. I used clear silicone and a couple small screws to mount it behind the steering wheel where I could route the wires into the dash and fuse box. Looks great and is tremendous for long trips. Well worth the money. its really a great product.
This product is truly excellent, I called the next day and activated my serius radio. I love they fact that it comes with multiple ways to hook ups to receiver/car radio. And don't let me forget.. my favorite part about it is the small style, VERY clean cut... I'm not one to have wires hanging out all over my vehicle just so I can enjoy a little upgraded radio (haha) overall GREAT PRODUCT and I would def. Recommend buying this product!!!!
