  • Surgical and compassionate

I received this book, Cut by Patricia McCormick, began reading it and never put it down. With a clarity of voice and portraying an understanding of this girl's inner, painful journey, the author paints a very honest account of this all too popular and destructive behaviour. And strangly, with her ability to draw me, the reader, into the confusing inner world of mental disease, I was left with hope, optimism and courage. I strongly recommend this book, not only for its strong , clean writing style, but also especially to those trying to grasp an understanding into this baffling syndrome. Quite a surprise for the first book of an author. I anxiously wait, with anticipation to future works by McCormick

  • This book saved me

This book is an inspiration to me. I struggle with similar issues and when i read this my worries went away. This book is about girl who is in a hospital getting treatment for mental health and follows her journey there as she recovers. Keeps you engaged. Easy read. Definitely would recommend reading this book.

  • A Cut Above The Rest

I absolutely loved this book. I cried, I laughed, but most of all I could relate to the book. The book is written in a way that is easy for many people to understand but it is still a very deep topic. Anyone who has ever battled with cutting or knows someone who has should read this book because it is a great look into the mind of someone else who is dealing with it. The only drawback for me was the ending. m I wish there had been a little more to the ending to finish it out and round out the story. Overall it is a great book that I have recomended to my friends.

  • Very good. Highly recommended.

Amazing book, I first read it in high school when I was having emotional problems after I lost my grandmother. It really pulled me through at that time. I was suicidal and my family didn't understand or care really. This book along with It's Kind Of A Funny story were honestly some of my biggest life savers. The main character is 13 years old, at the time I lost my grandmother I had just turned fifteen so it was very easy to relate to for the most part.

  • Good condition

I've already read this book and know it's amazing, the condition was fair.
