Great Epic World War II Game!
Good Game Game Play This game starts with you being tossed a gun in the middle of the war torn Russian Front defending against the Nazis as a grunt in the Soviet Army. Although the game starts out tough (I had set on normal or medium) after you die a dozen or so times (It puts you back almost where you left off most of the time) you learn the ropes of being a solider during World War II. By the time I beat the Russian and British Campaigns to get to the American Campaign I was dying a whole lot less and had learned and devised my own tactics and ways around certain missions. Sound The sounds were outstanding as each gun shot sounded unique according to the environment you were occupying. Tanks sounded like Tanks, Planes whizzing by my head almost made me duck, Nazi Troops barking orders ... Note:I have a 4.1 Logitech system so I could hear weather sounds were in front or behind, this came in handy a lot. AI Although a hindrance in other games the AI in COD 2 was outstanding as the soliders around you rarely get in your way and truly do lay down cover fire when you need it. They warn you of approaching enemy tanks, grenades, and mortar fire, they throw smoke and frag grenades and tell you the position of approaching ground troops. Graphics The graphics for this game are outstanding especially during dessert missions. You can tell how much time and effort was put into intricate details. On my system I noticed very little stuttering or freezing. Even the "drab" colors of war held their own beauty sometimes. From the biggest Tank to the smallest frag grenade or bullet this game is a buffet for your eyes. The Down Side The only reason I did not give this game an "Excellent" or 5 out of 5 is in my opinion the game was a little short. Overall If your looking for a solid First Person Shooter Game I would absolutely recommend this.

Excellent action-packed game with superb fun, initially
It ALWAYS leaves my heart pounding as the intense infantry combat and great graphics are better than anything out there. You can read all the positives about this game on the other reviews, but here are my negatives, specifically for the network version, which is the one we all play after doing the easy campaign: too much run and gun - careful positioning and concealment is useless; running around and blasting wins the game bunny hoping - still pays off cheaters on the network - lots and lots... aimbots, clippers, etc. rifles are generally useless - unless you're cheating, you don't gain much over the overly-accurate and powerful machine guns Because of the combination of all the points above... I've basically stopped playing. Red Orchestra is my new love. Still, this game gets your ... probably the best COD game in the series
As we all know there are tons of WWII games but only a handfull of them are worth buying this is definitly one of them One thing new that most peaple will or would like is the Russian campain which wasnt done before this game (and in my opinion is one of the best parts of the game.) The game does have its cons though,such as the fact that after a while killing germans can get old. There is another fact that makes this game a bit repetitive and that is in every call of duty or medal of honor game involves Normandy(the storming of omaha beach.) which gets sort of old after 5 video games. The weapons are very cool there is just no other way to say it pretty much every weapon in the game is awesome like the thompson,the ppsh41,and the sten. bascally I recomend this to COD or MOH fans or ... I like: Great maps, story, Weapons - There's nothing like playing COD History. Dislike: Needs a higher Graphics card, Computer slows down when in a battle My Words: I loved it the minute it was installed. I'm a huge COD fan and love this one just as much I love all the COD Games. I have had no problems with it except that it requires a good graphics card. I have a NVidia GeForce from Emachines Tseries and the game lags in high intense moments. What a great follow up in the continuing series of a great game! Great graphics, easy control and super fun scenarios! I am having a slight problem with slow performance (game speed) and not sure if I have a setting wrong on my computer! Would highly recommend to all that likes war shooter games like me! P.S. Can’t wait for series 3 to be released in PC Platform
