Great quality, BUT
Solid, well made magazine, but it is likely you will have to hand fit it to your HD Military pistol. In my case it required using a flat sided rat tail file to remove about 1/16th of an inch of metal from the rear of the right cartridge retention lip to allow the bolt to freely cycle. Not sure if all the other reviewers who had to adjust the magazine for fit had this same issue, but this was what I encountered. It was an easily identified problem and an easy fix. These are great magazines in keeping with Triple K's reputation for quality, and far less expensive than purchasing an original High Standard HD Military magazine (around $100), if one can even be located.Solid, well made magazine, but it is likely you will have to hand fit it to your HD Military pistol. HD MILITARY MAG BY KKK ARE THE BEST FOR THE MONEY!
There are no more Original Hi Standard Magazines available for less than a hundred dollars, some are even much more. Most of them are used. For a quarter of that price why not buy a brand new, made in America replacement? I bought two and they both work perfectly cycling the pistol by hand. I'll follow up this review when I see how they work under firing conditions. I do know that KKK has been in business for a very long time, and they stand by their products. The most problematic thing about the Hi-Standard, and any other semi-automatic pistol is the magazines. If the feed lips are out of adjustment the gun won't feed properly. The specs for the dimensions of the front and rear feed lips are available on the internet, and adjusting the magazine to those dimensions will usually bring it ... well made
In my old model A it is going to need a tad of adjustment. It doesn't always pick up a new round. A slight lip adjustment and it should work out just fine. The new mag includes instructions for fine tuning.

Great mag great price. better than $100 Hi Standard Replacement
My dad gave me this gun 35 years ago. I have worked the stock mag over lots to get the gun to run, never could I ever get it to cycle through a whole mag more than twice. Through the gun in the back of the cabinet, forgot about it. Saw one the other day, said I'm trying a new mag. picked this on up put it to work. Never missed a round. great mag great price. wished i would've done it years ago.

high standard hd militaty magazine
Might be a good magazine but didn't work well in my pistol. If it works for you it is a great value.
