    Bite ME~ and he did~ funny

    A Vampire (yes a Vampire with a TAN hunk George Hamilton is chased out his Castle in Transylvania and comes to the USA complete with Coffin and Bug eating buddy (Artie Johnson) to find his love Cyndi aka Susan Saint James a model. Better than it sounds~ Toss in Richard Benjamin as "The Doctor" the sleazy lover of St. James and will do anything to get rid of the Vampire~ very very funny~ typical of the 1970s when it was made complete with great Disco Dance. I give this a solid 8 out of 10. excellent vampire puns and humor. Saint James is excellent as the ditsy blonde model who's biggest problem is her "nutty" psychiatrist (Benjamin) who often steals the show~ IF YOU FOUND THIS REVIEW HELPFUL PLEASE REMEMBER TO VOTE~

    Funny and romantic

    This movie deals with Dracula wanting to find a forever love. He choses a model in NYC, who lives a very superficial life. She's been engaged to her psychiatrist for years, but he cannot make a forever commitment. His grandfather had tried and nearly succeeded killing Dracula in the past, and he is shocked to find his fiancee dating him. It's bizarre, funny and romantic; Artie Johnson adds to the humor as Dracula's helper. Only thing different than expected, was I thought "I Love the Night Life" was the song during the dance scene, and this had a different song.

    Great movie but missing I Love the Nightlife

    So, the copy I received was not the one pictured. It’s actually an Australian copy not the US copy I was hoping for. Fortunately, it’s all regions so it did play. Just wish the item sent was the item pictured. Also, this 2005 version is missing the I Love the Nightlife track by Alicia Bridges in the nightclub scene so that was disappointing. Had to order the Shout Factory! 2015 blu-ray release as it has the song originally intended for that scene.

    One of the Very Best Vampire Spoofs Ever Made!

    Anyone who enjoys a fun twist on the "Count Dracula" character, will love this film! George Hamilton is fabulous, the love story between Count Dracula and Cindy Sondheim (Susan Saint James) is sweet and swoon worthy! Not to mention there is a lot of comedy and an exquisite disco scene! (A word about that disco scene: This DVD version (through no fault of the seller) does not have the original song "I Love The Nightlife (Disco 'Round) by Alicia Bridges as the original film did. That song and the dance routine are just magic!! There is a replacement song that is ok, but once one sees the original, nothing else will do. There was some copy right issues, hence the switch up on the song in this DVD version. There is a Blu-ray copy of this film that does have the original I Love The Night Life. ...

    Love at First Bite

    Oldie but a goodie really fits the description for this flick. Excellent English without profanity is refreshed by its self and the dialog along with an excellent montage makes me love it all over again. If you like a light comedy based on a story of a really bad guy in the past you will not be disappointed.
