A raunchy, irreverent comedy classic released in the early 80s to set the tone for all other teen flicks of that era, PORKY'S takes a look at the sex lives of a group of teenage boys in 1950s Florida in all their obsessive, unfulfilled glory. Pee Wee, the main character in this group of six Angel Beach high schoolers, is so named for the size of his appendage; nonetheless, he wants nothing more than to lose his virginity. All six spend most of their time devising easy ways to score and spying on coeds in the shower, taking breaks only to insult their large dictator-like teacher, Ms. Ballbricker, and play pranks on each other. They devise a plan to take a trip to a divey strip club in the Everglades called Porky's, where they are sure to get some action; unfortunately, owner Porky doesn't much care for the underage likes of them, and after humiliating them and stealing their money, he kicks them out.The boys are deflated, but not for long! What follows is one of the most elaborate and uproarious revenge plots ever committed to film, one that cemented this movie's place within the canon of comedy forever. Director Bob Clark culled his own childhood memories to write the film over a period of 15 years, and the personal quality as well as the elements of racism that were characteristic of post-WWII Florida, lend the film an authenticity that rises above the mere sex comedy. It also stars Kim Cattrall, who went on to star as Samantha in SEX AND THE CITY.

Porky's
This is my all-time favorite comedy. It's hilarious from start to finish with a variety of antics and tomfoolery. It the 50's, a group of horny high school boys make a feeble attempt to crash a redneck strip joint in the middle of Florida's everglades, with hell to be paid later. There are numerous other funny scenes, one involving a girls shower scene, others involving teachers, and one where some of the same boys stage a fake gang-bang party out in the country as a practical joke. The more serious sides involve prejudice and racism presented as it was in the time period. The only nudity is the shower scene, there is some "bad language" and PLENTY of sexual humor.This is my all-time favorite comedy. Excellent Movie, well worth any money spent !!!
I first watched this movie back in the early 80's. This movie till this day has stuck with me. It is about a bunch of young guys out having the time of their life hanging out and going after women. Porky's is a strip bar that the guys keep trying to get into to have a good time. The guys in this movie are such perverts that it is hilarious and will definitely have you laughing. They pull all kinds of pranks, cause trouble, and just out too have a good time. This movie like I said I watched when I was a teenager and loved it. The acting was good, the storyline was hilarious, it is a movie that is very adult orientated, overall I would give it an A....I first watched this movie back in the early 80's. Serious Fun
A really fun romp. Predictable, corny, mad cap. Chauvinistic. Just the thing for relaxing on a snowy afternoon. Kim Catrall was beautiful and funny.
