A great book for someone who is interested in learning about the great American cowboy boot history, styles, brands, bootmakers, standards, exotics, custom, and many one-of-a-kind boots. The unique approach by the authors makes it at once a volume uniquely suited for use as a reference document that easily does double duty as a coffee table and conversational literary tool. Interestingly enough, much like the cowboy boot itself, which is itself, at once a daily habit, work attire, and worthy of use from Sunday morning churchwear to high fashion evenings. What a great contribution to the literature of this unique fashion and footwear for those of us interested in such pedestrian matters. It underscores once again that while these boots were made for walking about, they are also worthy of ... A great book for someone who is interested in learning about the great American cowboy boot history, styles, brands, bootmakers, standards, exotics, custom, and many one-of-a-kind boots. Cool little table book
Cute little book that shows the different artistic designs of cowboy boots. A very cool little book. Mostly photographs- very little print- but very neat nevertheless.

Worlds greatest cowboy boots
Fantastic photos of some of the most beautiful boots ever made. The book really describes the makers, techniques, history, and why the boot is what it is today. Tyler Beard does an excellent job describing the boots in this book and Jim Arndt is a wonderful photographer. A nice book for the boot collector.
