Avis les plus pertinents

  • Great title for this movie

This movie is a little dated, the special affects aren't what they are now... but the story is classic! A werewolf is on the rampage in a small midwestern town. No one knows who it is and once two children, brother and sister begin to investigate, they are shocked at what they learn. They employ the help of their often drunken but good natured uncle who believes them. The werewolf knows that the children know his secret idenity and is now after them. The actors in this movie star in many hit movies made later and it's interesting to see them in these early roles. The plot is believeable and the acting is good. Some parts may be a little dicy for young children but overall it's an entertaining, action packed, "family" movie.

  • SILVER BULLET

Men in rubber masks and hairy suits just don't make excellent werewolves, but Silver Bullet has enough going for it, that the bad guy can be corny looking and it's still okay. This is a fun, popcorn movie. Just enough suspense to maybe scare younger viewers, but good ole fun for everyone else. Uncle Red is a hoot and brings some great comic relief. This movie was never meant to be taken seriously as a hardcore horror flick, so don't go into it with that attitude. Just sit back, take a swig of soda, pop some popcorn in your mouth, and grin. The moon is rising and a monster is on the loose!

  • The werewolf of Tarker's Mills

An average werewolf flick, Stephen King's "Silver Bullet" is worth a late-evening viewing...with lights on and doors bolted. Corey Haim stars as paraplegic pre-teen Marty Coslaw in the town of Tarker's Mills (Stephen King has a thing for weird town names) which starts experiencing horrific murders among its citizens. Young Marty has an accidental meeting with the killer-a hideous werewolf-while shooting bottle rockets at night. He escapes the monster by firing a bottle rocket into its eye, then escaping on his souped-up motorized wheelchair built for him by his Uncle Red (Gary Busey). Marty and his sister Jane begin a search for the werewolf in human form, looking for someone with a damaged left eye...their discovery of the monster's identity puts them in imminent danger! Not a bad horror ...

  • Silver Bullet is Awesome.

I bought this movie becasue I hadn't seen it in years. I am a huge Corey Haime fan and was really sad to hear about his passing. This movie was great as a kid and it is great now that I have kids. My kids love it as well. Grapics for it's time are great, great story line and Corey did a great job acting. Garey Busey has such a great role in this as well. I would highly reccomend this movie to any Corey Haime fan, or werewolf movie lover.

  • Silver Bullet

I first saw this movie when it was shown on cable back in the mid 80s. I was immediately enthralled and frightened by it. I watch it every chance I get now. I've read the story that it's based on many times over. I've been a Stephen King fan since I was 14 years old. Corey Haim, Gary Busey and Everett McGill make this one hell of a film and McGill's dual role as Reverend Lester Lowe and the werewolf is bad ass! If you haven't seen this film, and you enjoy a good scare, watch it after dark.
