Ubisoft's original stealth series returns for its sixth installment as gamers once again take control of grizzled operative Sam Fisher while he attempts to thwart a group of rogue states that have banded together to unleash a series of escalating terror attacks on U.S. interests around the globe. Set six months after the events of Splinter Cell: Conviction led to the shuttering of the Third Echelon, Blacklist finds Fisher heading up the new Fourth Echelon agency as they use stealth, high-powered weapons, and advanced technology to track down terrorists know as The Engineers.<br><br>As was the case with Conviction, Blacklist is designed to be more fluid and conducive to action than the first four games in the series, typified by the new Killing in Motion mechanic that lets players highlight and dispatch several targets while running. However, gamers are still invited to take on the missions in any way they see fit, earning Assault points for direct combat, Ghost points for pure stealth, and Panther points for a mix of the two styles. Those points can then be used to upgrade Fisher's suit, weapons, and advanced equipment like remote-controlled drones, electromagnetic pulses, cameras, noisemakers, and his iconic goggles.<br><br>Xbox 360 users can get further into the action by saying things to distract foes, or by using the Kinect Sensor to control the action through motions and gestures. A separate co-op mode finds Fisher joining the new character Isaac Briggs for 14 specialized missions, while competitive multiplayer fans see the return of the Spies v. Mercs mode, which finds teams of two or four choosing from the stealthy, third-person Spies, or the heavily armed, first-person Mercenaries as they do battle on a variety of maps.

Splinter Cell: Blacklist (The next evolution of Splinter Cell)
All right let's be real splinter cell blacklist is a really good stealth/action game. In my opinion 3rd or 2nd best in the splinter cell franchise. I love this game It is amazing and the spies vs mercs multiplayer is so good. Mercs in 1st person view and spies in 3rd person view. The Mercs need to track down the spies and stop them from hacking the data. The spies need to use the shadows and the dark to stealth their way through the area hack the station and hide and remain undetected until the hack is complete. It is nerve-racking and the spies can take down the mercs if they want there so many different takedown animations and it's really cool. The feeling of having a merc a few feet away from you gets you shaking. The campaign is also really amazing. You can choose between being a ghost ... And a panther that is stealthy but kills and knocks out everyone in his way. The assault is guns blazing. Just like the multiplayer the single player is very nerve-racking. The cover system is very good and fun as well in this game. Overall amazing game but one downside is that they changed the voice actor sad that Micheal irIronsideidn't wawant do it anymore and wanted time to relax or something but hopefully in, the next game they'll bring him back. Despite the voice actor it is an amazing game.

If your fan of conviction you'll like this!!!
I'm not very far in the game as of yet. But if your a fan of splinter cell conviction. you should like this game. they added more to the game. now they have guard dogs, landmines, armored guards who take a special way to take down. if you haven't played conviction yet and are interested. I say play conviction first. this game even though it's on rookie difficulty for me. it's sorta hard and conviction would get you up to speed. one thing if your not familiar with these games. you must be patient, or this game is going to teach you patience. but I'd say overall it's a great game so far.I'm not very far in the game as of yet. Blacklist is top-notch!
If you are a fan of stealth genre games in general (especially latter Splinter Cell games) and the bombastic ridiculous set pieces of Call of Duty/Uncharted then you will have a blast playing Blacklist. The plot makes sense in some sort of alternate universe, but frankly it's just a vehicle for a globe-trotting backdrop and creative level design. Thankfully "Mark and Execute" make a welcome return from Conviction allowing for lots of RTS-lite entertainment. Deaths were frequent but the fun-factor high enough so that they were never a barrier to try and try again. One of my personal issues that I have is that Michael Ironside is no longer the voice actor for Sam Fisher. Having played the series from its inception, this was more than a little irksome. The elephant in the room (Eric Johnson ... Fortunately, I'm happy to report that ultimately you will probably come to be comfortable if not pleased with Eric's voice talent (which he does in fact possess) before the end of the game as I did. He's still not Sam in my personal opinion, but I admit that he's growing on me. If Ubisoft can't commit to bring Michael back to the series, then sticking with Eric is a tolerable second option. We haven't spent a bunch of time playing co-op -- which isn't exactly a harkening back to Chaos Theory -- but provides for plenty of fun for two people to kill and kill time. We spent most of our time plowing through waves of enemies in any way we could. The best part was that can be on the same screen as well as online! Hurray for couch co-op!!! Spies vs. Mercs is also back. However since we kept getting our butts handed to us we opted to spend the majority of our time swapping playing the single player which is both globe-hopping and fun, and most importantly doesn't ever feel like you're repeating yourself. Running and gunning is only good for about the first third to half of the game, so you may want to brush up on your stealth skills on occasion in the early missions since you'll need to employ at least some of your gadgets from time to time to advance. A couple of missions are utterly dependent on them. That isn't to say that the game isn't merciful enough to allow for lots of trial and error, but even when you die that old Splinter Cell feeling comes back enticing you to try new angles and tactics. And that's the bottom line. If you're invested in Splinter Cell you'll be pleased to invest in Blacklist which is in our opinion is the best stealth game in this generation on the 360 (for reference Deus Ex was a close second).

This game is amazing! The graphics are great! A different Splinter Cell from all the others, but that vould be a good or bad thing. For me a good thing.
