The book arrived quickly in great shape!
I've been studying my family history on Ancestry.com for almost a year now. I've learned that one of my grandfather's history goes way, way back! And he's related to the Plantaganet's. I did some research and found that Dan Jones wrote some books on the Plantagent's, The Tudors and others. I bought this book from him and he's such an excellent writer that it's like reading a novel! But; it's a history book! Suddenly, my ancestors became real people and not just names and dates. easy read , as a descendent of these flawed, self absorbed leaders , I get to meet them and know them for the first time in my life...... check your personal ancestry , you will not be disappointed if they pop up. Great Read

The writing is excellent and the story is informative and compelling.
The author knows his subject and his telling of the stories is riveting.It's such a good read it's hard to put the book down.
