    The Politics of James Bond

    I have been fascinated by the James Bond legend of sorts for yrs. I read my first book as a sophmore in HS. I eventually plowed thru all of Flemings originals by the summer of my senior yr. It was enlightening to read a socio-political take on these novels. It added depth to the books and showed how as The British Empire faded , Bond & the villians he faced changed. If one enjoys history of the latter half of the 20th Century and does not want an overly intense historical read , this book could be of interest to you.
