Product Information

Splinter Cell: Double Agent takes the stealth-based series in a new direction after three successful covert operations on multiple platforms. After learning his teenage daughter was killed in a car crash, a despondent Sam Fisher is unable to complete his duties for the NSA's splinter cell, Third Echelon, and is reassigned as a NOC, a non-official cover agent who operates from within dangerous organizations. His mission is to infiltrate a domestic terrorist group called John Brown's Army. For the first time in the series, Fisher cannot solely rely on his gadgets or the direct support of the NSA. He must instead fall back on his keen instincts to survive while working deep undercover.<br><br>Instead of advancing through linear missions across a series of international locales, players will experience a branching storyline with multiple endings, where decisions made at one juncture will influence subsequent events as the game progresses. Fisher must initially earn the trust of John Brown's Army to become a card-carrying member, so he must engage in carefully orchestrated heists and even an elaborate prison break to get in the good graces of key contact Jamie Washington. If Fisher is successful in befriending Washington, he will be invited to the terrorist group's headquarters, a multi-floor structure that serves as a jumping point for future missions.<br><br>From that point on, Fisher will be faced with multiple moral decisions as he walks a fine line between working with the JBA and on behalf of his NSA mentor, Irving Lambert. He will also be partnered with an AI-controlled character in many of the missions, introducing a new twist to the single-player game. Of course, Splinter Cell: Double Agent also features multiplayer modes, including the online cooperative element introduced in 2005's Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory and a new spy-versus-spy mode that is exclusive to both the Xbox and PlayStation 2 versions of the game.

    Reliable delivery and both games' story modes play perfectly from beginning to end.

    The copy of Splinter Cell Double Agent I acquired is a bit glitchy when firing up the multiplayer mode, but the game otherwise works good, and for a game so old, that's the best I could have hoped for. Additionally, the copy of Splinter Cell I acquired works perfectly, and since that's an even older game than Double Agent, I'm even more pleased. I originally set out to just buy Double Agent, but was happy to get a two-for-one deal.

    Great game, great value.

    I absolutely love the Splinter Cell series. I have been a fan since the games first came out and have been playing ever since. In fact, it's one of the few video games that I play period. I love the graphics, the real life situations and the thought and detail in every level. Sometimes things get so intese, I find myself holding my breath. Any game that intense is a game worth playing. I highly recommend this game to anyone looking for some great stealth action gaming.

    Splinter Cell Double Agent for Xbox

    The Splinter Cell series of games has always been my favorite. I love the stealth action games and Splinter Cell: DA is a great addition! This series just keeps getting better and better. I decided to buy from Ebay because of the low and easy to find price. I received an excellent deal from Ebay and I hope to find even better deals in the future!

    Great game but Chaos Theory is more playable

    Its not a bad title, but the movement control is a bit touchy and its much harder to walk slower. I am not very far in the game but to this point the AI feels funky. Great game, pick it up and you'll enjoy it especially if you have played the other titles in the series.
