    Great value for the money!

    Good book. Informative and well written. Includes descriptive plans for solar ovens and other self sufficient planning. I bought this to learn more on off the grid living, this book has many of the things I wanted to know and learn. I am using it in conjunction with others but this one is one of my favorites. Still reading it, so far I have no dislikes. I like how the author doesn't just mention things you can get and do he explains how and even provided links and resources for plans and colloborating resources for all your off the grid planning needs.

    A good book with which to start planning for off-grid living.

    The book is a comprehensive guide to living off the grid in a general way. From how to determine if off-grid living is something you really want to do onwards. This is a good book for people who are considering off-grid living and planning for the future. If you've already started down that path you may want more of a How To Raise Chickens or Dig Your Own Well sort of book.
