    • A down home book

I purchased book because I am from Central Alabama and the Little River Canyon in Fort Payne Alabama where the author is from is a very special place to me. I have followed the group Alabma for many years and have really enjoyed their music. After reading the book there were parts that I lived in like the Dale Earnhardt memorial in Daytona. Rarely have we the family ever read a book and my husband and son are reading the book now. Excellent!

    • I like to read about Randy Owens.

Its a good book for all to read.

    • Good, quick easy read. A wonderful rags to riches story..

I'm a big Alabama fan and thought this book was a decent read. I don't know why but I expected a little more. There were a few things in the book from his youth that were pretty incredible and the fact that he really came from nothing is amazing in itself. A very unique and talented man with very simple, honest qualities that make you view this man as a great role model even more after reading this book. Quick and easy to read.
