    Serendipity

    "Serendipity": finding something you do not seek. Years ago, I worked for Best Buy and each day listened to the music piped through the store. Now and then a song caught my undivided attention. I would then rush to my man in the music department, have him identify it and then I'd buy the album. One such song (or perhaps melodic chant) was "In Memory Of Trees" on an album called "Paint The Sky With Stars" by an artist called Enya. I didn't need to know this was an album of her greatest hits (fact is, I'd never heard of her); I only wanted that one song. Until I got home and played the album. That was probably the first time I heard "Orinoco Flow." After all these years, I still don't pretend to understand it. With a blend of New Age music and Celtic rythyms, it seems more evocation than ...

    One word... Beautiful

    This is by far my favorite of Enya's cd's. Her music is so beautiful and relaxing. It's difficult to classify what genre her music is. Ranging from New Age, instrumental, foreign... This particular album of hers has in my opinion her best songs. This album leans more towards a calming atmosphere, one that will transport you to another place. I love to listen to it while working at home. Another plus is that I have an autistic child and her music seems to have a calming effect on him. I play it low in the background and it does make a difference in his behavior. Overall, if you like soft relaxing music, this cd is for you.

    Paint The Sky With Stars: The Best Of Enya-Enya(CD 1997

    There are no artists that can come near her perfection of voice,orchestra and background singers. I have a very heavy Irish background, and have loved this type of music. There are those who may disagree and say there are other Celtic singers as good or better, but I am the one writing this review! Even her family, who are musical greats, could do well to have the voice if Enya. I bought the CD because it is portable. I actually watch her video's as often as I can.

    Paint The Sky With Stars: The Best Of Enya

    Enya's music has had the most powerful affect on me emotionally; more than any other. It grabs you in an unusual way that allows the expression of both absolute joy or profound sorrow, which ever you are experiencing at the time. From the first time I heard it playing overhead in the music store I was overwhelmed. It pulled me so strongly, I quickly called it 'music for the soul' and I had to buy it right then. 1997 and I paid $17.99 for that CD. In a hectic world filled with so much going on, Enya is perfectly soothing music therapy that should be played in every car, everyday on the way home from work. There are no 'bad' songs on any CDs by Enya. My copy is missing so I'm looking to buy a replacement ASAP.

    Soothing music

    I've been an ENYA fan for many years. Her music is enchanting and VERY SOOTHIBG. It could be recommended for therapeutic treatments. DELIGHTFUL!!!
