    CheaperbBy the Dozen

    I purchased this book as a required reading for my management course at a local college. It was entertaining, informative, and an overall great read. the author has written management principles that are still used today as part of college management course curriculum.

    An entertaining look at life in an amazing household from the early 1900's.

    Our family (with 5 children ages 4-14) really enjoyed this book! We read it aloud together. I did do a little verbal editing as there are times when Mr. Gilbreth or one of the children used language that we don't use in our household.

    Cheaper by the Dozen

    Again, like A Tree Grows in Brooklyn, I read this book when I was in 8th grade(39 years ago). I laughed and laughed at the antics of the Gilbreth children and so appreciated their parents. This is a wonderful, autobiographical story of a time not so long ago! I wish more books of this caliber were published today! We need this kind of literature and the children sitting in today's classrooms most certainly need it!!!!!!!!!!!!!
