    Helpful resource for learning Pharm for the first time!

    I bought this book at the start of my Pharmacology course because I heard great things about it and no one wanted to sell me their used Lippincott's! I think the book is really helpful and it sums up the material under each drug category well. I wouldn't recommend it as the ONLY way to learn Pharmacology (especially for the first time!), but in addition to lecture notes or in class discussion it's a great pre-lecture reading, and the quizzes at the end of each chapter are great for review purposes! I might recommend a more recent edition because newer editions are more up-to-date and in color, but I liked this edition a lot!

    This text has been a lifesaver in med school!

    This text was required for my medical studies and very quickly became my favorite reference for learning about pharmacological mechanisms, biochemistry and drug uses. Extremely informative, with lots of illustrations to help clarify the discussions. The chapter questions are also an excellent study guide for the medical boards.

    Pharmacology 2nd edition

    I love this book. I am a second year medical student and wish I had this book my first year. The explanations are very easy to follow, without being dumbed down too much. But it is not written to cater to a pharm student.

    Lippicotts Illustrated reviews

    It has funny cartoons that makes the reading fun. I bought for my pharmacology class as study aid to complement my course text book.

    Lippincott's Illustrated review

    I purchased this book because I had decided to go back to school to become a Dentist. I wanted to get a head start on pharmology because this is one of the hardest subject.
