    Teach Yourself Visually Guitar by Charles Kim

    I love all of the pictures because I could never learn a guitar from text alone! The book is very informative. I haven't gone through the whole book and I haven't learned to play well yet but hopefully if I try harder and practice more this book will help me get to a basic level. =) This is one of my favorite books for learning to play.

    Great book...starts at the very beginning which is helpful for someone who cannot afford private lessons.
