Video bible review
I bought this to listen to in my car on the way to work. This series won't work in audio systems but only on visual DVD players and TV combos. In other words, you can only watch it. In that respect, it is awesome! You can read the whole Bible in 72 hours. The words scroll across the screen while a narrator reads. Portions have multiple voices, where the Biblical text supports it. The menu supports a single verse, chapter, or entire book reading. It comes as a 2 disc set of old testament and new testament. The menus are easy to use and there is no complicated loading features that take time. The presentation is very professional and clear. We watched the book of Revelation in about 40 minutes. Just what we wanted. The wife can't read well after her stroke, but we wanted to do some work with the Bible. King James Version was too hard for her to understand, and this worked great. We can listen to just a few chapters or whole books. You can start and stop anywhere you like. The different actors reciting are also a great addition. Sounds more realistic through the home entertainment sound system with the added sound effects. Overall, we are extremely satisfied with this purchase, and could recommend it to anybody for pleasure. I do like reading the Bible very much and this is a pretty cool product I just expected little different but it is of great fun to listen to
