Would recommend Sensville Canada to anyone, product arrived in perfect condition, going to start installation this weekend. Eventually going to get an energy star model but this will do for now.

Great Deal. Nice unit. My attic is now usable.
Nice product. A window unit or a portable system would not work in the attic. Its a DIY installation with the following understanding. 1.Need to buy a vacuum/meter kit for $100 and you have to look at several Senville installation videos on youtube. I am very very happy. I saved $2,000 by installing this unit myself. the $2,000 I save I used to have a skylight installed. My attic is now usable an I can finish it into a loft or bedroom. Thanks Senville!Nice product. Reversal Valve Wire wasn't connected from factory !!
Got this unit to heat my basement. Had it installed professionally. It was only cooling but not heating. Installer tried recharging the coolant, no luck. Then he contacted his friend who is more familiar with the internals of these units. He speculated that the reversal valve was not working since it was only cooling but not heating. And bingo, he told me that one of the 2 wires going into it wasn't even connected (from the factory). He connected it and now it's working correctly. Everything else about the unit is great, other than one other issue which I consider minor -- the louvre "swing" doesn't work anymore, although it might be because I moved the louvre manually and might have broken it. It's fine, I don't need it to swing anyway, just in the open position which I am now adjusting ... Got this unit to heat my basement. Had it installed professionally. Can't go wrong with Senville!
Looks and feels well made. Good finish, seems to be ready for any weather. Works very smooth as advertised. Compact and solid both inside and outside units. Mounted on a wall bracket on a OSB wood wall. The noise and vibration is minimal. My window shaker was seriously loud. Instant cool and heat, no comparison!

Solid reliable unit.
I replaced my 12000 BTU unit with this one and it is still running fine. It automatically switches between heating and cooling which can lead to it working harder than you want. There are cool mornings that would be fine if it didn't heat, but if I set the thermostat that low it would start cooling the afternoon before. I suppose I could just turn it off at that time of year.

exactly as described... our main air conditioner didn't cool the casita well... my husband installed this in one week - then we had it checked and warranty signed off by a professional company - only had to call the company once to confirm that the "plug" was already installed in the machine which was contraindicated and confusing in the instruction booklet.
