    A good GPS but no tech support

    This is an easy to use GPS but if you are looking for continued updates to your maps I suggest you look elsewhere as Nextar offers little support and no updates they support the old adage "you get what you pay for". As far as usage the P3 is as easy to use as any other GPS system and appears to be a pretty solid built unit if the tech support was better I would rate them as excellent as the unit itself is very nice.

    AWESOME PRODUCT GREAT FEATURES

    I bought this for my wife but had to try it out myself first.This little unit is great!I went offroading with it the other day and it showed every road we went on.I was not expecting that because my garmin doesn't do that.I was sold right there plus it has an mp3 player,expansion slot and if your lost and have to call someone it gives you latitude,longitude and altitude. This unit is easy to use has about A 4 hour battery life with full charge on it when using for music and is simply awesome!

    Nextar P3 GPS Receiver

    I bought the Nextar P3 Gps receiver two months ago because I wanted to experience and compare it performance with other models and types I had had. Two months into using it I now can say without shadow of doubt that i love it because of the ease with which it can be operated and the amout of features it has that is making commutes and location of places user friendly. The only thing though is that I may need a newer version of the maps because i was in Bedford MA recently and I had problems locating a new neighbourhood. In all I will say, is a blessing to have the Nextar gps and that is why I gave a rating of excellent at the begining of this statement. Thanks, Hassan.

    Excellent Value

    I bought this right before leaving on a road trip. The trip was from NJ, to Daytona Beach,FL, to Lafayette, LA, Ausitin and San Antonio, TX and Nashville, TN before returning to NJ. I fired it up the morning I was leaving. It worked great right out of the box. We used it to find gas stations, restaurants, hotels and points of interest along the way. It performed nearly flawlessly, it actually worked better than units that I paid more than twice as much for. Great GPS for the price.

    Nextar GPS X3-03

    Great Christmas gift! For the first two weeks, anyway. Then it wouldn't power on. Returned it to the store where purchased. Now I'm getting ready to return the second one; same problem. Hard to love something that doesn't work, but it was easy to use and had great picture quality.
