Great portable easel
I have never used an easel when painting so I was very intrigued as to how comfortable it would be. I received the Solana Adjustable Wood Easel to review and I can say I really do like it! It has a few issues, but it is not without it's charms. I love the portability. I can stick this into my bag, enabling me to work on projects away from home or carry it outside to work in the sunshine. I like the adjustable tilt that allows you four positions to paint an a comfortable angle. The fold out lip holds my canvas and helps keep it from sliding around. The drawer is convenient for pencils, brushes, palette knives and other small tools and instruments. It even includes a palette for paints and paint mixing. That is another thing I have never used. I'm a little OCD about things like that and may look into whether it would hurt the usability if I were to apply a clear coat to it. The easel itself is great. The wood is smooth, no splinters and the parts move easily and smoothly. This would also work as a cookbook stand in the kitchen or possibly even to prop a book or tablet on for reading in bed.

The Great-Grand Daughter Artist!
My Great Grand Daughter loves art and Christmas came so, I purchase what I thought that she would love! She was so happy with it and off she went to start drawing and yes, I made her one happy Artist and get the pictures that she draws all the time! Ah, slow down girl, your drawing to fast for me to hang them all over the house! Love all of my Great Grandkids yes, all 12 of them. Getting harder for me to get the right presents for them and they all grow to fast and all that stuff is costing me waaay to much money! All of you, slow down!! Never mind, You go kids! Perfect
Its just what I need! It doesn't take up too much room, it has a little drawer for storage and it holds good sized canvases! I love it. Great value for the money.

Great box easel
A very nice item. It takes up so little table space it can be used anywhere. The drawer in the front makes the difference. It is lightweight and well balanced for carrying. I like the ledge that holds the canvas or papers, it's a fold down ledge when in use and is deep enough for a thick drawing pad with room to lay down a pencil or charcoal while working. The drawer is roomy is a a good spot for brushes, pencils and misc. . I recommend it.A very nice item. It takes up so little table space it can be used anywhere. Young Artist
My granddaughter loves to draw, paint and color and this easel is perfect for her to carry anywhere and set it up on a table or on her lap. Also she uses it to set her IPad on. Perfect gift for a 12 year old up coming artist. Thank you so much for having this reasonably priced item.
