This technologically advanced navigator is mountable on all vehicles, providing you with the means to drive to any location you want without ever having to open a map. Because roads and routes may change, this Navigon GPS unit allows you to update the route. To do the update, all you need to do is enter the download mode. The update only takes a few minutes if you do one metropolitan area at a time. If you want to install multiple updates, you can connect it to your laptops, desktop computer, or other electronic accessories with a USB cable. This allows for fast downloading times of any route. The robust hardware and software can also be updated with downloads through an SD card. If you need to access international maps, the device will allow you to update your location through its SD card.This Navigon GPS unit is designed with convenience in mind. You can touch the screen to zoom in on streets and businesses on the maps. These mobile units also display information about traffic. If you see that traffic is busier than expected on your route, you can have it make adjustments to a route with less traffic. You can also use the touch screen to adjust the settings and automatically send you on a route with less traffic. If there is a traffic accident on the points you planned to take, this Navigon GPS unit can give you a new route to avoid it. If you need emergency assistance, this GPS will call for local roadside assistance.If you are driving in a new place, the Navigon GPS unit will offer you a 3-D view. It will show street names and direct you where to park when you arrive. The spoken directions with text-to-speech ensure that you do not have to take your eyes off the road.     Navigon 2100 GPS Navigator Car GPS Receiver

    I've seen mixed reviews about this GPS system. After a few months with it I like it a LOT and think it's better value than most high priced systems. I don't want a GPS that can play MP3s, I've got an iPhone for that, I just want it to do a good job getting me from A to B, and back. What I like about the Navigon 2100 is that it finds the satellites quickly, the interface graphics look good, unlike some from TomTom and other well knowns. The spoken directions are good with just the occasional mispronunciation which for me is no big deal. What I find very good is that the spoken directions are at just the right time unlike another unit I had which was vague when it came to when exactly to turn when you had a complicated route. The POIs are very comprehensive right down to the non-big brand ...

    I purchased the Navigon 2100 as my first GPS. The NAVIGON® 2100 is slim, stylish, easy to use. It has a 3.5" touchscreen display, simple to maneuver menus and coast-to-coast map coverage . Navigating the road is made easier with spoken turn-by-turn directions including street names. The Reality View provides realistic 3D map view of some complex intersections. It has points-of-interest pre-loaded, restaurants, hotels, gas stations, etc. Another feature is Automatic Speed Warnings (YOU MIGHT WANT TO TURN THIS ONE OFF !) This unit is new so you might wait for a while till they workout the bugs, my unit gave up the ghost after one month. Customer support was poor, however the retailer stood behind the product and sent me a new one when Navigon customer support drug their feet. PS the ...

    Navigon 2100

    I love this gps. It works very well, and is very easy to use. The text to speech is very accurate, and the maps are too. It has several features that can be useful, for example the take me home feature. It stores your home address, and can take you home from anywhere. It also has speed control , tells the speed limit and if you go over the speed limit. The only fault that I have found so far, is that the screen is very small, and it is hard at times to push the correct letters and numbers, but I am getting used to it. Overall, it seems to be working great.

    navigon 2100 used gps

    this gps was in great condition. there were no scratches on the unit and everything was in its original packaging and appeared to all be there including the warranty papers. The Navigon 2100 is relatively simple to operate once you get the feel for the menu screens. GPS navigation was incredibly accurate at pin pointing current location. The Map information seems a little bit outdated in my area but there have been some considerable changes as far as businesses and some routes in recent years. There is a Current map service available from the manufacturer but costs 80 bucks which from talking to some associates with different GPS systems this is an affordable price for such service. One major glitch that I have found with the unit so far is once in a while it says that the SD card has been ...
