      Get this book--regardless of the state of your relationship..even if single

      A nice change of pace from the normal relationship books. In a nut shell he focuses almost exclusively on positive things between you and your spouse...from this point forward. Hardly any soul searching or looking to past issues to resolve. Mort Fertel has you look to the past to find good things to remember...then use those memories to fuel more good memories. We have done some of what he has recommended. We are recovering from an affair. Much of what he discusses we SHOULD have done before the affair...to help affair proof our marriage better then we did. I like the book so much I am contemplating the $400 tele-course he offers. For a personcouple struggling with past pain and frustration this book will provide a needed relief and re-charge.       This program is a must for anyone to strengthen your marriage no matter how close and great you believe it to be in. Unbelieveable! Behaviors that while they appear obvious when you hear them, you would probably never stumble upon in a lifetime on your own.

      There are lots of books on marriage and relationships. This one spells out exactly what you can do to improve your marriage - even save it. Highly recommended!

      Practical Advice that Most Likely Works

      the book contains very practical advice that most likely works if you apply it - i use it in my counseling practice and the clients that apply the principle EVENTUALLY see a difference - there is no quick fix for marital problems unfortunately - this book is no exception - if you are ready to try something different and ready to commit to it this book may be helpful to you - i like that it is solution oriented and does not focus on long standing problems (a problem that traditional marital counseling has) - good luck...
