    Cockatiels for Dummies

    We just brought a baby cockatiel into our home, and this book is a great starter for people who are unfamiliar with birds. We also have a parrot, so a lot of the information is a review of what we already know. It is a comprehensive guide to owning a cockatiel, and a useful review to keep at hand for general use or in the case of an emergency. In regard to bird books, I would also suggest you get, "My Parrot, My Friend" which is a comprehensive book about parrot behavior and teaches one how to bond closely and most beneficially with their bird.

    Good read for Cockatiel owners

    Bought this book for my mother who is a new owner of a five year old cockatiel. She said, book had great amount of good information. She found it to be a easy read. And reads it frequently for answers she may have regarding her new companion. She would recommend this book to anyone who cares for a cockatiel.
