Visual equivalent of a beach read
The steelbook packaging that my edition came in was a nice upgrade, but nothing memorable. The movie, the same. The 4K processing didnt have enough to work with to make a difference. In other words, to me, unless you are a fan, the blu ray version on sale in the specials bin at a big box was more than adequate. Entertaining as always
Jack Reacher 2 continues this trend of Tom Cruise as his new super agent which he started 5 years ago. The film is quite entertaining consider the amount of actions and thrills. It is a very enjoyable movie from the beginning to the end. Highly recommended for any TC fans.

Bad disk
The movie was great, but there was an annoying line on the middle of my 4K Sony TV. I know its the disk because no other disk has done it. And the only time it appears is with the 4K disk.

More actions from the sequel!
A perfectly watchable action film, and while not exactly memorable, still one you likely won't complain about afterwards. Tom Cruise holds up as the unbeatable but far from invincible Jack Reacher, and Cobie Smulders as well as Danika Yarosh both play nicely against him in their differing roles. It lacks the intrigue of the first film, and there are a few dubious jumps of logic, as well as dialog left unexplored, but the plot is easily followed and enjoyed. PQ looks very good especially with 4K HDR effect. AQ also sounds promising with Dolby Atmos. Great action movie.
I loved Jack Reacher 1. This movie deals more with Reacher's ties to the military, different but just as good as the first movie.
