It was purchased new and never read. However, it was purchased from a budget bin at Barnes & Noble, so it had wear from storage and from being hogpiled into a budget book table. In this case, it left scratches in the cover gloss and parts of the cover gloss that are partly rubbed off. Along the spine, paper is barely showing from storage wear. There are also dings in the bottom two corners of the spine. There are also smudges on the page edges (see picture 6). The store also used a marker on the top edges of the pages (see picture 5). Otherwise, the book is in new and unread shape. It looks very good. It's curious, there's a spot on the cover where it looks like the cover has ripped and is showing white paper. If you look closely, the coating is still present there, so it's not a rip. It's a printing fault. There are other white spots on the cover, but all are covered with coating, so they're all printing faults. Even so, they don't look great!”
